LeRoy Boren was our choice after interviewing several competitors. Building a new home is a long, complicated process, particularly complicated in this case because the home is owned by two couples rather than one, and because the four owners had to oversee the home construction from long distance as none of us lives in the area.
One of the reasons we chose LeRoy was because of his use of Co-Construct software which is interactive and allows owners and contractors to talk, ask questions, discuss choices, monitor budgets and progress and post pictures. This tool along with Leroy’s excellent communication skills were essential.
But more importantly, it was LeRoy’s own honesty and integrity and the quality of his (and his sub’s) work that was most impressive. Design choices, materials, fit and finish are all top quality, from the Ipe decking that never needs maintenance to the hardwood cabinets, floors and quartz counter tops. He moved us along in our decision making so that we would make our deadlines and advised us of ways to cut costs.
Leroy was incredibly patient with all four of us. He was able to navigate us through the process of building our house and make choices that maintained the integrity of our beautifully designed home. We would highly recommend LeRoy and Boren Construction to anyone.
