I had recommendations for a few home contractors from people who were very happy, but chose LeRoy Boren because he had just completed a home across the street from me and everything I’d seen there seemed professional. I also liked the online system he uses to keep track of the project- this helped me to make timely decisions about fixtures and colors and avoid any delays. Getting the project permitted took months and months and I wanted to be into my house by summer. The old cabin was removed in December, ground broken in January, and I was in on June 12. The actual building from tear down to move in took less time than the site use permit alone.
Everyone who saw the house being built has commented on the quality of workmanship. “I love your builder” was a comment that I heard more than once. The work moved fast but without taking shortcuts. LeRoy was always accessible to me by phone, email, and in person. He addressed any concerns I had, made his own suggestions along the way, but made sure I was happy with the choices. The sub-contractors were all very good, showed up on time, and worked late, and left the site clean. Problems along the way were minor and quickly addressed.
This is the first and last house I’ve had built and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of builder. I said from the start I had to stay within my budget and he did, but not by cutting corners on quality choices. When I was unsure he recommended choices and had an eye for the aesthetics of the project. LeRoy takes great pride in his work, and for very good reason.
